The laws and requirements that God gives to mankind, either individually or collectively. Keeping the commandments will bring blessings of the Lord to the obedient (D&C 130: 21).

Noah did according to all that God commanded him, Gen. 6: 22. Walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, Lev. 26: 3. Keep my commandments, and live, Prov. 4: 4 (Prov. 7: 2). If ye love me, keep my commandments, John 14: 15 (D&C 42: 29). Whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, 1 Jn. 3: 22. His commandments are not grievous, 1 Jn. 5: 3.
